Hello web3! We’re the new kids on the Block, and we’re beyond excited to share the news about the project we’re cooking up: NFTV.

What is NFTV?

NFTV is a game station on web3 where you can have fun with your friends (and your NFTs) by flipping through multiple channels of wildly fun games to play together. Each channel gives you a totally unique gameplay experience; some reminiscent of treasured classics and others inspired by existing NFT communities.

Every player inside NFTV becomes a ‘tubehead’ — i.e. a customizable TV-head character with an NFT on the screen. So, your avatar in our games = your NFT inside a cool retro TV head that you can customize as you wish. No NFTs? No problem! You don’t need an NFT to play, but we’ll help you mint one if the FOMO becomes too strong.

Our goal is to give NFT holders something fun to do with their NFTs, give players the opportunity to mint unique NFTs through gameplay, and inspire newcomers to step into the world of web3 in an engaging way that is easy to understand. For people already in the space, NFTV is a place to show off and expand their collections, forge deeper connections within their communities, explore and get to know new ones, and bring their friends into the mix. For those new to it all, NFTV is a place to understand more about blockchain, web3, crypto, and NFTs via gamefied learning without barriers of entry or any prior knowledge required.

TLDR; it’s a primetime game station for anyone who wants to have fun, meaningful experiences in on web3.

Why NFTV? Why Now?

NFTV is here to change how people interact with NFTs, by giving everyone a free-to-access platform where they can connect, play, learn more about the space, and bring more people in. We believe that for web3 to truly become accessible to all, there needs to be a place that caters to both the early adopters and the web3 curious, a bridge that connects everything — and the only way we know how to do that, is by doing what we do best — making games.

Our Team

NFTV is being built by Supersocial, a venture-backed metaverse company that creates and empowers digital communities to play, explore, socialize and express themselves through games and experiences built for the next era of the Internet. We’re a team of award-winning creatives, entrepreneurs and gamemakers with decades of experience in the videogame industry.

Accolades aside, we’re a wacky group of game nerds with a mutual passion: creating fun experiences that connect people. We all grew up in the 70s, 80s and 90s and vividly recall the incomparable feeling of playing old-school Nintendo games and the unmatched coolness of the MTV era, so we’re on a mission to bring those warm fuzzy nostalgia feelings back to the future where they belong.
